There are some signs of use due to wrinkles on the surface. Stickiness of the shoulder strap. Slight paint peeling of the hardware due to rubbing. Small scratches. And scratches.
On the inside. There is some discoloration on the material cutting connections and on the top of the inside of the zippered pocket.This may be subjective. But at first glance it looks black.However. The four corners and other areas seem to have a bit of navy mixed in.
